We are seeking an experienced "Solution Engineer" to join our team, focusing on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) implementations with expertise in omnichannel marketing (WhatsApp business solutions for the Indian market a plus). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business requirements, designing and implementing sophisticated marketing automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Design and architect end-to-end SFMC solutions, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and Social Studio
- Lead technical implementation of WhatsApp Business API integration within SFMC
- Develop complex SQL queries and AMPscript for personalized customer journeys
- Create and optimize automation solutions using SFMC's Automation Studio
- Implement real-time integration solutions between SFMC and other enterprise systems
- Design omnichannel marketing strategies leveraging SFMC capabilities
- Develop WhatsApp marketing solutions compliant with Indian regulations
- Create customer journey maps and implement them using Journey Builder
- Optimize message delivery across email, SMS, WhatsApp, and other channels
- Implement tracking and reporting solutions for campaign performance
- Provide technical consultation during pre-sales and solution design phases
- Create technical documentation and solution architecture diagrams
- Guide clients through technical implementation and best practices
- Mentor junior team members on SFMC capabilities and implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 5+ years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification
- Strong knowledge of SQL, AMPscript, and SSJS
- Experience with API integration and web services
- Salesforce Marketing Account Engagement a plus
- Demandbase experience a plus
- Cvent experience a plus
- Tealium experience a plus
- Proven experience implementing WhatsApp Business solutions in India
- Deep understanding of Indian digital marketing landscape
- Knowledge of local data protection and privacy regulations
- Experience with omnichannel marketing automation
- Understanding of mobile marketing best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of overall technical experience
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
- Experience working with enterprise clients
- Additional Salesforce certifications
- Experience with other marketing automation platforms
- Knowledge of mobile app push notifications
- Experience with CloudPages and Landing Pages
- Understanding of marketing analytics and attribution
